In October and November 2022 I was an artist in residence at the Thinker Makerspace of CYENS – Center of Excellence in Nicosia, Cyprus. My ambition for the residency was to explore how to involve the public even more intensively in my installations by using data from the visitors as movement input. Potentially leading to the creation of a deconstruction based on sensor input. During my stay I experimented and developed prototypes. ‘Lotus’ and ‘Meander’ use proximity sensors to respond to the presence of movement or lack thereof.
